I had the honor to make Mayor Mary of Apple Valley her re-election cake! The cake tells more than a story! It is based on an incredible mayor, a mother, and a friend! Each tier represented something special to the people. The bottom tier which is the biggest book represented Mayor Mary’s excellent leadership. The next tier which was a red leather book represented the accomplishments she has brought to Apple Valley. The next book was blue and it represented connection and dedication. Blue is the color of the sky and the sky is endless, stating that Mayor Mary’s connection with the entire city is endless! The last tier is topped with the cherry on top but in our case, the apple on top! The frame with Mayor Mary’s picture is made of chocolate and brushed in edible gold!
